Natural (Land) Art to promote cultural growth and the socio-economic sustainable development of rural areas in Europe – SustainArt4RuralEU

Proposal presented under the ERASMUS+ Program in October 2023. The objective of the project is to promote the role of Nature, Land Art as a catalyst to achieve sustainable coexistence between nature and humans in rural areas with low population density in Europe and combat the depopulation of these areas through new job opportunities in the creative sector.

Restoring nature trails to develop sustainable tourism opportunities in European socio-economically fragile areas – SusTrail4ruralEU

Proposal submitted under the ERASMUS+ Program in October 2023. The project will promote transnational capacity building and knowledge exchange, resulting in concrete recommendations for the future regeneration of three existing undervalued trails, etched into delicate natural landscapes in need to be preserved. The proposed measures will aim to renew and restore natural itineraries and to protect and enhance the surrounding biodiversity, supporting socio-economic activities.

Mentoring Art-therapy for Resilience and Empowerment of vulnerable adults – MARE

Proposal submitted under the ERASMUS+ Program in October 2023. The MARE project aims to create a platform for dialogue and sharing experiences through art. Art will be the means to express the narratives of marginalized, homeless and vulnerable individuals and to change citizens’ perception of the condition and daily struggles of vulnerable people and the importance of the role of professionals in supporting their inclusion.

ClimateLink – Enhancing climate awareness and bridging researchers with resilient communities – CLI(n)K

Proposal submitted under the ERASMUS+ Program in October 2023. CLI(n)K aims to develop adults’ abilities to assess the quality of the environment through scientific observation. This will increase their knowledge of the impacts of climate change and their perception of how landscape and human activities are closely related. Furthermore, it will offer adults an innovative opportunity to learn and practice simple monitoring techniques through a peer exchange with ecology professionals.
